  • On the slow rhythm of deep breathing: requiring all the more power to control movements

  • At a fast pace for cardiovascular exercise

In any case, this style powerfully develops muscular strength and physical stamina, and is also great fun.

Level 1

Level of difficulty similar to class Vinyasa Flow Niv1.

Postures are linked together in a gentle flow, with particular emphasis on deep muscular training of the lower limbs and abdominal muscles.

In particular, to prepare for Power: 

  • Leg power at various bending angles

  • Abdominal strap power

  • Work on ankle flexibility, hip opening and leg stretching.

In addition, exploration through the addition of certain repeated Kundalini Yoga postures (twists in synchronization with breathing, for example).

Structure

  • Sun salutations (classic in Vinyasa/ Ashtanga Yoga)

  • First 2 Power yoga sequences

  • Relaxation

Level 2

  • Warm-up for animal walks: movement exercises, jumps and floor exercises to build muscle strength for Flow.

  • At the heart of the session is an intense Flow of 26 postures.

  • Finally, posture-by-posture corrections or specific exercises for each individual.
